Chef Alessandro Pirozzi cooks the food his Nonna Ida taught him in Naples: hand-made pasta, one block from the Laguna Beach sand.
The chef
Born in Naples, Chef Alessandro Pirozzi was the youngest of four and the only boy in a house full of girls. When the teasing got loud, his grandmother Nonna Ida would rescue him into her kitchen to help make dinner.
Those dinners became a life. Today Alessa is his love letter to them: rooted in tradition, authentic in flavor, served steps from the Pacific.
